Satisfy your appetite with flavorful salads, sandwiches, pizzas and more at lunch and dinner. And on Saturdays and Sundays, delight in a special brunch menu. The main dining room is situated toward the back of the restaurant, and it’s MASSIVE. It’s laden with booths and tables, and decorated with lots of greenery and natural light. Once we get more information on Summer House on the Lake, like a menu, we’ll share, but in the meantime, does this restaurant seem like a place you’ll try on your next visit to Walt Disney World? The restaurant atmosphere is absolutely stunning, and I would definitely recommend it for a relaxed meal with friends!

And of course, there are desserts available! There are a few options on the main menu including Gooey Lemon Cake and 7 Layer Chocolate Cake. Well, the restaurant is a chain that’s California-based, and you’ll see those tastes evident in many of the menu items. The lunch/dinner menu begins with a selection of starters, including Signature Guacamole, Potato Salad Deviled Eggs, Truffle Fries, and Cheesy Dream Puffs.

This counter shows off all of the day’s available treats, as well as various merchandise for sale. We got the signature guacamole, which also comes with house-made tortilla chips, cilantro, pico de gallo, charred-tomato salsa, and habanero verde. There’s also seating at the bar, but note that seating there is first-come, first-serve. Summer House on the Lake has both indoor and outdoor seating. We’re going inside a BRAND-NEW Disney World restaurant and it’s one we’ve been VERY excited about. We're in Disney World every single day, and we've eaten at EVERY restaurant. Oh boy, planning a Disney trip can be quite the adventure, and we totally get it! But fear not, dear friends, we compiled EVERYTHING you need (and the things to avoid!) to plan the ULTIMATE Disney vacation. The strawberry frosting gets everywhere and stained my hands a bit. It has more of an artificial strawberry flavor to it that’s not bad, but not the best either.
It comes with a lemon on the side, and I squeezed some on top to add a tart, fruity flavor. The lemon, arugula, and chicken in one bite was the way to go. The Ahi Tuna Tostadas more accurately fit in the “starters” category because they’re served in small, bite-sized portions. They’re a bit pricier than the starters though at $18.95. They’re topped with hass avocado and Thai chili on a crispy corn tortilla.
Here you can can look forward to California-inspired bites including everything from pizza and pasta to fresh salads and sandwiches during your next visit to Disney Springs! You can enjoy any of these meals inside the eatery or on one of the spot’s three expansive patios. Refreshing Beverages Pair your meal with palate-pleasing beverages. Lunch and Dinner Menu
The sugar cookie base wasn’t very exciting — just a pretty typical sugar cookie, even though it was fairly soft. I got a stack of six treats to try, starting with the Krispy Chocolate Chip Cookie for $5.45. It’s a chocolate chip cookie topped with pieces of their brown butter Rice Krispy treats. The chicken was absolutely delicious and I totally understand why they’re famous for it! It was moist and herbaceous with a little bit of char on the outside that I loved.
Another bar can be found toward the front of the restaurant. There’s also bar seating available that borders on the outdoor seating area. The interior of Summer House on the Lake is light and airy with plants, wicker chairs, and warm lights.
A drink menu features a large selection wine, beer, handcrafted cocktails and nonalcoholic drinks. A signature Rosé Cart offers options for Rosé fans, including the restaurant’s signature Summer House Rosé! The California-inspired menu, led by Chef Ben Goodnick, features simple ingredients sourced from local grower partnerships and sustainable products. Rosé is poured all day off the signature Rosé Cart, alongside an extensive wine and handcrafted cocktail list. And no matter the weather, the bright and airy vibes always fill the atmosphere.
The tomato sauce is light while the cheese is thick. It’s nothing special but it’s good for picky eaters. We were also delighted by the plates having the restaurant’s name on them, it’s a simple thing, but it offers a lot. The restaurant has a mostly white color palette, accented by light-colored woods and various plants. Pancakes, waffles, salads, and sandwiches are also available to choose from, along with a selection of other items from the lunch and dinner menus.
There’s a second bar in this section of the restaurant. Bar seating is first-come, first-serve — you can inquire at the podium outside. Wine lovers will definitely want to try a glass of the restaurant’s exclusive Summer House Rosé. In addition you’ll find a selection of wine, beer, handcrafted cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. We can’t wait to sip our favorite drinks on one of three beautiful outdoor patios with lake views.
We’ve been not-so-patiently waiting for Summer House on the Lake to open in Disney Springs ever since it was first announced, and with each update and sneak peek, we got more and more excited. But now, the restaurant is FINALLY open, and I stopped by on the first day to check it out for lunch! Should you visit Summer House on the Lake during your next vacation? A lounge space in Fantasy Chateau features large floral murals and flower-inspired light fixtures. This dessert includes a chocolate piece featuring the restaurant’s logo.
The food during the main part of my meal was all spectacular and we’re definitely excited to have a new dining option in Disney Springs. There are quite a few important points to discuss here. The appetizers and entree that I had were all quite good. I was particularly impressed by the tostadas and the deviled eggs, flavor-wise.
